Song Of The Day: My Little Red Book as performed by Love, and Burt Bacharach solo and with Elvis Costello

It’s Burt Bacharach’s birthday, and even though he disliked Love’s rearrangement of My Little Red Book, I doubt that, with Bacharach’s endless parade of mega hits, the song would be so revered were it not for their cover.

  1. I got to see one of those shows when Arthur Lee took Baby Lemonade out to do Forever Changes, they did a show at The Knitting Factory in LA and Did the whole album sans strings, it was pure psychedelic fuzz/folk magic!
