Giorgio Moroder teams with Kylie Minogue for “Right Here, Right Now” — listen

Sounds like Giorgio’s forthcoming album could be a huge hitmaker

Consequence of Sound

This spring, disco legend Giorgio Moroder will release his first album in over 30 years. The all-star affair promises collaborations with Sia, Britney Spears, and Charli XCX, as well as Kylie Minogue, who appears on the latest single “Right Here, Right Now”.

As he demonstrated time and time again when working alongside Donna Summer, Moroder is an expert at building a song around a vocalist and their persona. This track’s medley of undulating bass and shimmery synth grooves is equal parts lusty and danceable, the perfect stage for Minogue to seductively deliver lines like “When the lights start flashing, you can open up your eyes.” Listen in below.
